BASEBALL

2010 A (Tee Ball)
Ages 5-*6
(As of April 30, 2010)
Tee Ball - Designed to be a child’s first introduction to baseball. FUNdamentals are emphasized. Safe and fun for all boys and girls.

2010 AA (Coach Pitch)
Ages 7-8
(As of April 30, 2010)
The next step up - Children are taken to a new level of play. Coach pitch makes the game fun and more enjoyable for all.

2010 AAA (Minors)
Ages **9-10
(As of April 30, 2010)
Semicompetitive - A great introduction to learning more skills for Double A graduates. Triple A provides a more competitive level that kids will love as well as a comfortable playing environment for the kids. Baseball fundamentals, sportsmanship and participation are all emphasized. Great for more experienced ball players.

2010 Majors
Ages ***11-12
(As of April 30, 2010)
Competitive - The fundamentals are stressed for the kids playing at a higher level. Besides being competitive, Little League core values of respect, sportsmanship and team are taught. Majors is a great experience for all ballplayers.

2010 Juniors
Ages 13-14
(As of April 30, 2010)
The Next Step - Junior League is the next step for players to advance their baseball careers. Junior League will be played on 80 foot bases with leading off and stealing and pitching at 54 feet.

* 6 year olds have the option of playing up at the AA level if they've played at least 1 year of Tee Ball and have demonstrated the ability to play at the next level.
** 9 year olds who are new or not quite ready for the AAA level may be put down on the AA level.
*** 11 year olds who may not be ready for Majors or don't make the number allowed for the Majors teams may play at the AAA level.

SOFTBALL

2010 AA (Coach Pitch)
Ages 6-8

The next step up - Girls are taken to the next level of play. Coach Pitch makes the game fun and enjoyable for all girls. Beginners are welcome

2010 AAA (Minors)
Ages 8-11
(As of January 1, 2010)
Semi-competitive – A great introduction to learning more skills for Rookie graduates. Triple A provides a slight competitive level and comfortable playing environment for the participants. This is a player pitch league with a pitching distance of 35 feet.

2010 Majors
Ages 9-12
(As of January 1, 2010)
Competitive - The fast pitch fundamentals are stressed for the kids playing at a higher level. Pitching has a distance of 40 feet. Besides being competitive, Little League core values of respect, sportsmanship and team are taught.
